Kentucky Misses Only 7 of 22 Shots, Leads South Carolina 45-24 At The Half

Wow, what a performance by Kentucky in the first half. They simply dominated every aspect of the game -- running at will, blocking shots, making threes, passing the ball around like the Globetrotters -- where has this been all year?

Kentucky shot 68% overall (60% from three), and if they had taken care of the basketball instead of turning it over nine times, they might have scored 60 in the first half. To top it all off, the Wildcats are making free throws and doing the kinds of things that really good basketball teams do, except for valuing possessions.

I really don't have that much to complain about, but I will say that this was about as good a half of basketball as I have seen out of this team all year, and a big reason is the play of Ryan Harrow. I have been on Ryan Harrow like white on rice on a paper plate in a snowstorm, and judging by his performance, so has Coach Cal. So far, there is only one word to describe it -- virtuoso.

Archie Goodwin and Alex Poythress are also showing their good side. I'm not used to this.

Go, 'Cats!
