Today is Super Bowl Sunday. No matter what kind of sports you like, it's un-American not to watch the Super Bowl if you can. So says I, anyway. Petra and I will be watching, munching chicken wings and snack food and feeling very American -- and fortunate.
Tweet of the Morning:

Quotes from Kentucky basketball coach John Calipari and players // The Courier-Journal
"The biggest thing is, when teams make runs at us, we don't have a swagger. We have none. As a matter of fact, we almost look defeated."

Draft analyst Ed Isaacson evaluates Nerlens Noel and Alex Poythress // vaughtsviews
I think this is a very good summation of Alex Poythress:
There are some major concerns though from an NBA perspective. He doesn’t have a great feel for the game. He is athletic and can make some plays, but he just isn’t a smart player. It’s almost like he doesn’t realize that this isn’t high school and he isn’t going to outrun and outjump everyone, and he hasn’t adjusted. The tools are there, he just needs to figure it out – which can be tough, because he simultaneously has to be improving.
I think this is exactly right. But despite that, he goes on to evaluate Poythress' draft prospects, which may surprise you.
