Apparently, House Bill 7 (HB 7) which was to provide funding for the Commonwealth Stadium and other UK campus projects, has passed the Kentucky senate and has been signed by Governor Beshear.
Tweet of the Afternoon:
Thanks again to @ukypres @govstevebeshear & the members of the #Kentucky House & Senate for their support of HB 7!#BBNunited #WeAreUK

When you go back to Ohio now, do you see that your family name commands respect there?
Oh, yeah, absolutely. I think it’s a big part of it. It’s definitely paying off.

Read point C. Hat tip: Mr. Hanky
I suspect this isn't a problem for UK. The report does not say that John Wall received the transportation. I'll bet this is a limousine ride out to his place, or something of that nature, that Clifton got from Shapiro, but it sure is uncomfortable to see such a smarmy character anywhere near our program.
I wouldn't be surprised to learn we have smarmy characters around our program, too, but I hope that Sandy Bell is ferreting those scum out.

Big Ten Expansion: North Carolina Reportedly Has Offer To Move From ACC
Jeff Erman 247Sports recently tweeted Virginia, Georgia Tech and North Carolina are all being courted to one degree or another by Big Ten commissioner Jim Delaney.
I don't think this is going to happen, but you never know. Rumor only, so far. -

Oversigning Index: On another front, it's still Alabama and everyone else // CBSSports.com
Alabama is in another universe when it comes to "oversigning," although it says here that Kentucky is 2 over the limit as well. I suspect that's wrong for most schools that close, and even CBS acknowledges their information isn't close to bulletproof. Hat tip: Mr. Hanky. -
