Well, ladies and gentlemen of the Big Blue Nation, that wasn't a pretty half. What we saw is very much improved defensive intensity, but the offense ... well, it went waaaayyy south. That's got to change.
I liked some of what I saw, but I hated the free throw shooting and the dumb turnovers. Consider:
31 fouls, 42 free throws in the first half of Kentucky-UNCA. Cats are a horrid 17-of-31 at the line.
