Michigan State gets a chance to strike a blow for old-school basketball, good vs. evil, next year against Duke and all its one-and-dones.— Kyle Tucker (@KyleTucker_CJ) November 15, 2013
Kentucky was on the list of Okafor until the end, but Jones was said to have dropped UK after the commitment of Tyler Ulis.
While Kentucky could have used either one, it was never going to be both, and this is one of those "package deals" that actually happened, although that is pretty rare in college basketball these days.
Okafor was the #1 player as ranked by Rivals.com for 2014. Jones was #5.
