Well, the first half was an ungodly foul fest like we haven't seen in a while, and it made the game horribly ugly.
What is not so great is that the Wildcats are losing badly on the offensive glass, and and the seemingly never-ending parade of missed free throws is why Kentucky is behind at all. We take care of the defensive glass and make a reasonable free throw percentage, and UK is up seven or eight at least.
Sadly, though, we are getting killed on the glass and we have laid enough bricks from the line to build a full-size replica of the Taj Mahal. Archie Goodwin is doing a good job on Marshall Henderson, but it seems like nobody wants to get the basketball when Nerlens Noel goes for the block.
Kyle Wiltjer is playing well, Alex Poythress is prostrate with foul trouble. Despite that, UK is down only one. Maybe we can get this game in spite of the problems.
Go, 'Cats!
