A Craig McIntosh field goal with 4 seconds remaining in the half gave the Kentucky Wildcats a 10 point margin over the Kent St. Golden Flashes after one half of football.

The most astonishing thing about the first half of this game was Aaron Boyd, who seems to have been possessed by the spirit of Jerry Rice. Boyd has single-digit catches in 3 years at Kentucky since he was recruited as the #1 player in the state. Suddenly, he gets a start in his second game as a senior and has 7 catches for 73 yards and a touchdown, and pulled an unbelievable grab out of the air to put Kentucky in position for their half-ending field goal.

Kentucky's defense has once again surrendered a lot of yards on the ground, but other than a big play from scrimmage that resulted in Kent St.'s only points, the Wildcats have played the bend-but-don't-break game okay. The problem is, this is a MAC team, not an SEC team.

Let's hope the Wildcats are a little sharper in the second half on both sides of the ball.
