Could 2013 wing James Young from Rochester (Mich.) be inching closer to a decision? Perhaps, if you believe the tweet sent from 247 Sports' Jerry Meyer below.
A source close to the James Young situation is convinced it is a battle between Kentucky and Syracuse.

If Meyer's source is correct, the biggest loser is the Michigan St. Spartans. Earlier this summer, the hometown Spartans were the presumed leader in Young's recruitment. Young has long been considered the Spartans' top target at shooting guard. Further, Michigan State appears to be in a favorable position for Jabari Parker, considered one of the top players in the nation. Parker and Young could conceivably form a devastating perimeter duo, especially if Young decides against playing on a Kentucky "dream team."
Young also lists Kansas and Arizona in his finalists, and received in-home visits from coaches from his preferred schools earlier this month. Earlier this week, reports broke that Young will take an unofficial visit to Kentucky this weekend. All signs point to Young making a fall decision, leaving his remaining schools with little time left to make their final impressions.
