Ben Roberts had a story out earlier today regarding 2013 recruits Troy Williams and Jabari Parker. It seems that both of these young men are no longer considering Kentucky:

On Monday, new stories on Jabari Parker, Demetrius Jackson and Beejay Anya hit the web. Combined, those three stories were more than 2,800 words. Not one of those words was "Kentucky."

Troy Williams, another 2013 recruit with previous ties to UK, also hasn't mentioned the Cats in a while. Williams nearly committed to Kentucky in the spring before reopening his recruitment to include several new schools. Though he seemed a top target at one time, Calipari hasn't visited Williams, and it seems the Virginia native no longer has a UK scholarship offer.

In this tweet, Ben confirms that Williams no longer has UK on his list:

I've been hearing rumblings for a long time that Parker was no longer on Kentucky's radar, and I have suspected for a while now that Troy Williams would not be coming to UK. I don't think either one of them is a problem, considering some of the other guys that Kentucky has become involved with lately.

As usual, we are seeing some narrowing of the recruiting river at this point, and many of the commitments to UK will be late ones. It happens like this every year, it seems, as recruits wait as long as practical to see how things will shake out.
