College Football: Week 3 Games to Watch/Open Game Thread

Week 3 of the college football season sees some really classic matchups that should do a lot to clarify the somewhat nebulous top 25. The California Golden Bears vs. the Ohio St. Buckeyes should demonstrate whether or not Urban Meyer's team is really ready for prime time, even if a bowl visit for the Buckeyes is out of the question this year.

In the SEC, the big contests are Alabama Crimson Tide at Arkansas Razorbacks. Arkansas is reeling from a shocking upset courtesy of Louisiana-Monroe, and going up against the Tuscaloosa Pachyderms is a tough way to get well. The Florida Gators visit Knoxville to try to take a chomp out of ol' Smokey, but the Tennessee Volunteers don't look like the pushover they've been lately, and they have a 7-year chip on their shoulder -- The Lizards last dropped a game to Rock Top back in 2004 when Phillip Fulmer stalked the sidelines.

All in all, it should be a great Saturday.
