This can be the kiss of death. The Card Chronicle reported this last month:
Kyle Washington really likes Louisville, and Marcus Lee is a player that Rick Pitino and I really like. I'm not sure about his mutual interst, but he is very skilled, blocks shots, and has immense talent.
According to CatsIllustrated.com (subscription required), Lee is now very interested in Kentucky, and Anthony Davis is a big reason why. Lee liked what Calipari did with Davis, and is showing interest where there seemed to be none before. There are, of course, others involved, and one of them includes Tom Crean and the Indiana Hoosiers
The thing is, though, that as far as I can tell, John Calipari and Kentucky have yet to offer Lee a scholarship, and I'm not 100% sure that Pitino has offered him, either. However, what Kentucky fan wouldn't enjoy another 3-way mano-a-mano between Pitino, Crean, and Calipari a la Marquis Teague? I know I would.
Truthfully, though, there are other big men in 2013 that Calipari has shown more interest in, namely Kennedy Meeks.
