*Safety Glenn Faulker will miss 6-8 weeks with an ankle injury that will require some hardware. Faulker was considered the prize of last year's recruiting class. He still has a redshirt season available to him after playing (mostly special teams) as a true freshman. It seems like Kentucky is snakebit with its four star recruits.
*RB Josh Clemons is still having trouble with a swollen knee, though MRI results were negative. If both true freshmen are indeed going to be in the running back rotation, this might be a good year to redshirt Clemons as well.
*Today marks the final pre-season scrimmage for the Cats. Even if it isn't officially announced, the staff will likely make the QB decision this weekend. Assuming it hasn't already.
* Jen Smith of the Herald-Leader reports that at least one fall camp decision has been made. DeMarco Robinson will get the first crack at returning punts for the Wildcats when the season opens. You may recall that Kentucky averaged a truly absurd 1.8 yards per punt return last year. This has to improve.
*The Louisville Cardinals will open the season ranked #25 in the AP Poll. The Governor's Cup stakes just got a little higher.
