Kentucky Basketball: "The John Calipari Era" Video

Ladies and gentlemen of the Big Blue Nation, this is about as awesome as YouTube videos get (hat tip: KSR):

Something I noticed that I hadn't before. At the 4:00 mark, you'll see Bob Knight claim that John Calipari "put two schools on probation, University of Massachusetts and Memphis State, and he's still coaching."

Massachusetts was never placed on probation for the Marcus Camby matter. The entirety of the UMass penalty was to forfeit their 1996 Final Four and return $151,716.00 in revenue from the NCAA tournament. We all know, of course, the second Knight clip was a blatant lie he attempted to foist upon the public, but it turns out he was wrong on the facts in both of his most controversial utterances concerning Calipari and Kentucky.

This video pretty much encapsulates the journey from the last two years of Tubby Smith's reign to now, and along the way makes a mockery of many of Calipari's detractors by repeating their own past words in the context of the present. It is a beautiful thing to watch.

I like the music the author chose, also.
