Kentucky wins another championship

I'm ashamed to say, I had no idea the University of Kentucky has a tractor-pulling team, but it does, and it's now the best tractor pulling squad in the country after UK won the international quarter-scale competition which recently took place in Peoria, Illinois. The competition is sponsored by The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers.

Teams are responsible for designing and building their own machinery, and then competing at the yearly event.

"It was gratification that we had truly designed and built an award-winning machine and our hard work paid off," UK team captain John Evans told the Lexington Herald-Leader.

Team members include Evans, Chance Corum, Jordon Cook, Nick Rhea, Eric Varner, Catie Lester, Michael Blum, Angela Lyvers, and Cody Rakes. The squad was advised by Tim Smith and Christian Lyvers, with additional assistance provided by Micheal Sama and Carl King.

Sincere congratulations from A Sea of Blue to the team members for their simply outstanding work! You've made UK and Kentucky proud.
