SB Nation Has A Whole New Toy - YouTube

Well, you knew it had to happen sooner or later. With all the emphasis on video content these days, the Mothership has decided to add video to the list of awesome sports offerings for fans.

SB Nation has a new YouTube channel that is all about bringing interesting video content in a format other than the online communities like A Sea of Blue. The SB Nation YouTube channel has all sorts of content for all sorts of sports consumers, from the nuttiness of the Shutdown Fullback series featuring Spencer Hall of Every Day Should be Saturday and Jason Kirk of SBNation.com, to Bomani Jones talking basketball, to Amy K. Nelson's Full Nelson series.

For a taste, here's Amy's latest with Buzz Bissinger, author of Friday Night Lights:

If you are unfamiliar with Bissinger's exploits on Twitter, let's just say (and I use this term advisedly) that they are "irreverent." Okay, they are pretty much vulgar and abusive, but hey, one man's nasty, abusive commentary is another man's "irreverent humor."

I must tell you that I enjoyed this interview, even though I don't love Buzz Bissinger, especially the persona he puts forth on Twitter. Here I am in another "but to be fair" moment, but being a fellow thin-skinned kind of guy, I can totally get why he gets angry when ... well, watch the video and you'll get the rest.

While you're at it, subscribe to SBNation's YouTube channel - just go over there and hit the "subscribe" button. Yes, there is some content on there that is probably not for you, but some of it is, and the great thing about YouTube is that it's easy to turn off the stuff you don't want to watch and skip to the good stuff.
