Kentucky Wildcats: PM News Update

Here's what's happening around the Big Blue Nation this evening:

  • Ben Roberts has a big update on Twitter about the status of Andrew Wiggins and some other noteworthy Kentucky recruits.
  • UK officially announced D.J. Eliot's hiring as defensive coordinator today. Eliot was most recently the defensive ends coach at Florida St., and he will also be coaching the linebackers at Kentucky in addition to being the DC.
  • Larry Vaught does not know if Neal Brown is going to accept the offensive coordinator job. Many emails, texts and phone calls have produced nothing, either in the affirmative or negative.
  • Larry Vaught interviews Aaron Harrison Sr. about his sons at the Marshall County Hoopfest.
  • Athlon lists John Calipari's all-time best freshmen. This list is likely to change a lot over the years.
  • Well written, but seems a bit too much like navel-gazing to me.
  • I wonder why Kirby Smart wasn't on Tennessee's list all along. But Tuberville? That sounds desperate.
