According to Scout.com's Evan Daniels, Andrew Wiggins from Huntington (W Va.) Prep intends to visit Kentucky on October 12 for Big Blue Madness. Wiggins is the consensus top player in the 2014 class. Speculation that he will reclassify to the 2013 class remains rampant, though Wiggins has yet to make a final decision.
Wiggins joins five-star 2014 prospects Cliff Alexander (Chicago (Ill.) Curie) and JaQuan Lyle (Evansville (Ind. Bosse) at the event. 2013 prospects Derek Willis (Mt. Washington (Kent.) Bullitt East), already committed to Kentucky, and Marcus Lee (Antioch (Cal.) Deer Valley) plan to use that weekend for their official visits.
Wiggins remains the top target for Kentucky in the 2014 class. If he were to reclassify, he would immediately jump to the top of recruiting boards and become a priority for the Wildcats. Kentucky and Florida State are the two presumed leaders, with North Carolina trailing close behind.
