The Blogpoll for week 4 of the college football season is out, and there is predictably a new sheriff in town -- the Oklahoma Sooners. Alabama drops to third because they have beaten only one ranked team and two cupcakes, and LSU ascends to second because they have defeated two highly ranked teams and has looked very tough doing it.
Somewhat surprisingly, the Florida Gators manage only a 1-spot jump after easily handling Tennessee in the Swamp, and Florida St. takes a somewhat impressive nose-dive down the charts after losing at home to Oklahoma.
But the most significant move of all is the Clemson Tigers zooming up the chart after defeating Auburn in Clemson. That's a surprisingly large jump for me, especially considering the suspect nature of Auburn's defense in their two prior games. But Clemson did look good, so perhaps I am being too conservative in my thinking.
The full poll can be found after the jump.

Other observations:
- Oklahoma St. is moving consistently up the board despite playing only 1 winning team so far, and the 'Pokes are putting up points by the bunch.
- Not really ready to buy Southern Cal, but they have beaten two teams with winning records so far. Next week at Arizona St. should tell us if they deserve to be in there.
- Don't really get how Wisconsin deserves to be elevated over Stanford.
- Georgia Tech has been racking up some points. Interesting team. Next week we'll know if they belong there.
That's what I have. What do you think?
