Kentucky Recruiting: Archie Goodwin Drops Kansas And UConn

The tweet below says it all:

The extra "o" and dropped "n" in UConn is kind of amusing to me for some reason, but you get the idea.

By my count, that leaves three schools -- Memphis, Kentucky, and Arkansas -- left in line for Archie's services.  Coach John Calipari had an in-home visit with Archie last Thursday, but he said in a tweet last week he had moved his timetable back to the spring of next year for a decision.  Or at least that's what I think he was saying.

This cut kind of makes me wonder about that, though.  We know Archie is scheduled to be in attendance at Rupp Arena for Big Blue Madness 2011, and he was scheduled to visit Kansas later this week.  That would now seem to be off the table.  So it comes down to Memphis' Josh Pastner, Arkansas' Mike Anderson, and Kentucky's John Calipari to close the deal.

I like our chances pretty well at this point, but it isn't a sure thing by any means.
