Perry Ellis, a 2012 PF from Wichita Heights, is expected to announce his collegiate decision this Wednesday. Ellis is down to three Kansas schools (Kansas, Kansas State, and Wichita State) as well as Kentucky. John Calipari conducted an in-home visit with Ellis last Friday, with UK the last of the four schools to visit. While Ellis was once considered a virtual lock to stay in-state, Calipari's concerted recruiting efforts over the past summer make Kentucky a strong contender in Ellis' recruitment. Ellis is ranked 24th overall by Rivals, 33rd by Scout, and 37th by ESPNU. After Ellis' announcement, we'll have an updated 2012 recruiting big board with the latest news and notes.
