This is your second half open game thread for the 2011 Governor's Cup game, Louisville Cardinals @ Kentucky Wildcats. The first half did not go so well for Kentucky as they gave up two big plays for touchdowns, and got only one of their own. The bad news is that Louisville is moving the ball well against the "vaunted" UK defense. The good news is, Morgan Newton is throwing the ball and most of the time it is being caught, and Louisville only scored 14 points despite piling up the yards on offense.
My questions:
- When will the playcalling start to make sense?
- When will we open up this offense?
- When will we get pressure on the Louisville QB?
That's enough. We still have a good chance to win this football game, and we are at home. Kentucky needs to come out, get a stop, and score some points right away. Kentucky must find a way to be more consistent on offense, and more aggressive on defense.
Go, 'Cats!
