NCAA Football: 2011 Preseason Top 25 Blogpoll Results

It seems that yours truly had a lot of agreement when I picked the Alabama Crimson Tide #1 for the first 2011edition of the SB Nation Blogpoll.  Some people almost had me convinced to change, but in the end, I didn't see enough conviction in those arguments.  You can find Andy Hutchins writeup of the poll here, and the final results are also posted after the jump for your reference in the comments.

What amazes me is the Auburn Tigers.  I was tempted, over and over, to move them out of my top 25, but in the end decided against it.  The Blogpoll has them not just in there, but at a full spot higher than I had them.  Boise State was also higher than I thought they should be, but I am a Boise St. Broncos detractor, so you can't go by me.

I also had the Texas Longhorns in my poll, but the other voters decided that the poll would be a no-steer zone for this particular edition.  Overall, though, my ballot looks real similar to the final one.
