Media bias angle "way overblown" in Duke story?
Nope. Honestly, I really just want to see the media act the same way when it's Duke as they do when it's not. That's all. I don't think that's asking too much. -
Kyle Veazey, now of the Commercial Appeal, looks at the football Wildcats.
The Wildcats will switch from a 4-3 alignment to a 3-4 scheme brought in by Minter, too. If Kentucky can reign in its defense, its past history on offense suggests it might be able to take the next step. (Even when scoring 30 or more points last year, the Wildcats were still just 5-3.)

If Kentucky is going to make a move up the SEC East standings in 2011, the Wildcats defense must rise. Kentucky's three best offensive players from a year ago - quarterback Mike Hartline, running back Derrick Locke and do-everything player Randall Cobb - are out of eligibility.

This is a great story by Pat Forde, and it has (almost) nothing to do with Kentucky.
Go ahead. Read it. You know you want to. -
More of the same from the Krzyzewski-adoring media.
Then there are the Kentucky fans, who have almost as big a chip on their shoulder as N.C. State’s faithful when it comes to comparisons between their Wildcats and the two big boys of Tobacco Road.

Randall Cobb making an impression on the Pack.
Cobb said his background as a quarterback — the position he played when he first came to Kentucky — is helping him grasp the offense.
"It helps out a lot because I understand the progressions and I understand what the quarterback’s looking for," Cobb said. "Being a route-runner, it helps me to know my spacing and how I need to adjust my routes, depending on the coverages."

Southern Cal coach Kevin O’Neill has suggested [Dewayne] Dedmon (7-0, 258) will become an NBA lottery pick, perhaps after just one season with the Trojans. O’Neill made these claims though the sum total of Dedmon’s basketball experience consists of a short junior college career and a few months spent practicing with USC last winter.
From Mike DeCourcy. It would not shock me if this guy was really good.
