iHigh High School Basketball: Oak Hill Academy vs. La Lumiere Prep

This past weekend I had the great fortune to serve as the color "analyst" for the iHigh broadcast of the Marshall County Hoopfest. In the next to last game of the tournament, traditional high school power Oak Hill took on La Lumiere Prep out of La Porte, Indiana, a team loaded with talent.

Some of the players who hit the court for their respective teams -- with college choices in parentheses -- for Oak Hill, swing Jordan Adams (UCLA), guard Tyler Lewis (NC State), combo guard D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera (Georgetown U), and forward Darion Clark (UNC Charlotte). Taking to the hardwood for La Lumiere Prep, a relative newcomer to the big time high school basketball scene, was forward Hanner Perea (Indiana), forward Jay Simpson (Purdue), swing Rapheal Davis (Purdue), guard Antonio Drummond (Southern Illinois), center Obij Aget (New Mexico), and seven-foot center A.J. Hammons (Purdue), who will be a major impact player for Matt Painter's squad.
