Both Tennessee and Kentucky have something to play for today. Tennessee has a bowl riding on a victory today, and Kentucky could end the 26-year UT winning streak that has bedeviled the Wildcats faithful for so long. A victory today would take some of the sting out of this utterly forgettable season by Kentucky, and get rid of one more nagging issue that invariably comes up for ridicule every year.

Today, I have no hopes whatsoever other than for somehow pulling out a victory. I don't care how it happens, or why, I only care about seeing that stupid streak die.

If Matt Roark must play quarterback, he must. Hopefully, he can do something to move the football whether it be running or passing or throwing it to himself. At this point, UK is so banged up and depleted on offense, we might be better off putting our biggest offensive linemen in the backfield and letting Roark hand the ball to them and hope they can go three yards and a cloud of dust. Whatever works. Throw the playbook out the window, go to whatever ridiculous formation might produce and outcome, anything to get the ball in the end zone as often as possible.

That's all I have. Just win, baby.

Go 'Cats!
