It's always tough to go down and play Georgia in their home stadium, and given the lack of success by Kentucky's team this year, it will be a particularly tough spot for the Wildcats. With that said, Kentucky has been competitive with Georgia over the last few years, and maybe that will happen again today. I think it would be safe to say the the Dawgs are taking the 'Cats lightly.
What the Wildcats need to win:
- Divine intervention on Kentucky's side would be a big help.
Move the football. Georgia is a solid defensive team, and moving the football on them would not only give UK a chance to score, but might cause them to panic a little. After all, they have been a bit schizophrenic at times this year. - Defend the pass. Frankly, this looks like mission impossible with Georgia's imposing O-line, but that's what it will take.
- Make a big play. UK has had so few big plays this year you can almost count them on your fingers.
A win here is unlikely, but we need to be pointing to next week and ending that ridiculous streak against the Vols. Let's just hope the 'Cats can man up and play competitively.
Go, 'Cats!
