College Football Top 25: Blogpoll Draft Ballot Week 8

Rockin' the Blogpoll.
Rockin' the Blogpoll.

It's week 8 and my new draft Blogpoll ballot is fresh off the press.  There's not a lot to talk about in the top ten, because most of the teams have kept winning, biding their time until they face the big game that makes all the difference.  The biggest one of all likely comes in 3 weeks when LSU faces off against the Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa.

The biggest stories for this week happened in the middle of the pack.  Michigan, who was previously knocking on the door of the top ten in my ballot went down to rival Michigan State, and despite a tough, hard-fought win over the Mississippi St. Bulldogs, the South Carolina Gamecocks lost the services of their star running back, Marcus Lattimore, to a freak play.

Georgia Tech takes a dive after dropping a tough game on the road to Virginia by a field goal.  Kansas St. takes the biggest jump, right to the brink of the top ten by defeating a good Texas Tech on the road, and scoring an impressive number of points in the bargain.  Oregon gets a bump over the Stanford Cardinal because of a much more impressive victory over Arizona St.  Finally, welcome Michigan St. back to my ballot after a great win over in-state rival Michigan.

Here's my ballot:
