It is unlikely that this Kentucky team can duplicate the remarkable upset that they pulled off last time these two teams faced off in 2007. Not only is this game on the road, but also this Wildcat team doesn't have nearly enough weapons compared to the 2007 team on offense. In spite of that, this is still a game that has to be played, and the Wildcats are due to show improvement if they are ever going to do so.

For the LSU view of things, be sure to visit SB Nation's outstanding LSU blog, And The Valley Shook.

What I am hoping to see today:

  • Better run defense.
  • An actual offense.
  • No turnovers.
  • No injuries.
  • A miracle.

That last one isn't likely, but then again, that's why they call it a miracle. It's go big or go home, so why not a prayer for a little divine intervention? This team could certainly use it.

Go, 'Cats!
