This is one more big step on the road to winning the SEC. If the Wildcats stumble here, it will be a very bad situation and indicative of the young freshmen not getting it. LSU will be ready for them and will no doubt bring one of the best games of their season with them.

More after the jump.

What UK needs to do to win:

  • Force LSU into bad shots. They shoot the ball poorly.
  • Attack the glass at every opportunity
  • Get the ball inside as much as possible to DeMarcus Cousins and Patrick Patterson.
  • Take care of the basketball.

What Kentucky must avoid:

  • Quick shots out of the offense.
  • Allowing LSU to slow down the game
    Bad fouls
Too many shots from the perimeter. UK outmatches LSU inside.

Go, 'CATS!
