State-Journal.com - Off night, still a "W'
It was so bad that Calipari afterward said that the play of freshman center Daniel Orton was not just fabulous, but "absolutely fabulous" after Orton had three points, three rebounds, one blocked shot and one turnover in 16 minutes. Calipari must have been referring to the fact that Orton was one of the few Kentucky players who appeared at least mildly interested in Tuesday’s challenge.
I don't think this is fair. I think Cousins was not particularly interested, but Orton played well in a number of areas. Orton doesn't have to score big to impact the game. Case in point -- DeAndre Liggins. -

SEC looking much better at midseason than last year " Anderson Independent Mail
Not only will Calipari run away with the SEC’s top honor, he’s likely to be named the national coach of the year.
I'd bet against that. Jim Boeheim is the "politically correct" choice this year, and he is likely to win no matter what happens.
