The football news is beginning to trickle out, and even though there has been no hitting at all yet, we hear the coaches talking about what they are seeing, a little bit at least. Right now, the teams are practicing in shorts, and they won't be in full pads until five days after practice begins. Until then, according to Coach Brooks, there is very little to say. No surprise there.

Fall practice heats up for Cats
Lots of interesting tidbits in here. Masthay is a huge loss, and Ryan Tydlacka will have some huge shoes to fill there. Seiber seems healthier than in previous years, so we can only hope for improved consistency. It's troubling to hear that Evans will miss a couple of days of practice. We really need all the help we can get at DE. -
