Most of us in the Big Blue Nation are still basking in the afterglow of the biggest win Kentucky has had in Rupp Arena in a while. There is lots of stuff in the news post below to discuss, so there is no need to relink it here.
I think we all are encouraged and greatly heartened by this game, even if it wasn't particularly pleasing to the eye of occasional basketball fans. But to those of us who watch a lot of basketball and pay close attention to the game, it was one of those games that was "beautiful on the inside." What a strong defensive performance by Kentucky against one of the best offensive teams in the nation. Yes, our own offense was sometimes ugly, but Vandy's tough man-to-man had a lot to do with that.
