Kentucky has received some news on the football recruiting front. Can't pass it on yet, but will as soon as possible.
OK, Matt Jones just broke it so I can also. Dave Ulinski, offensive lineman out of Louisville Manual, just verbally committed to Kentucky.
This is significant for several reasons. First of all, Ulinski is one of the best players in the Commonwealth. Second, this is a big recruit Louisville will not get, right out of their back yard. Third, we need o-line depth like nobody's business to compete in the SEC, and Brooks is getting that job done.
He has long been thought to be a Kentucky lean, and was expected to announce this month, but has gone ahead and announced early.
