This is the official Open Game Thread for Stonybrook University at Kentucky.
I apologize for not being able to provide a game preview tonight. Unfortunately, my real-world job kept me humping until it was too late to do a good job. So instead, I will refer you to others who have done a great job -- Wildcats Thunder and a video preview from John Clay's blog.
Here are a few questions I think Wildcat fans would like to see answered tonight:
- Can Joe Crawford put back-to-back good games together?
- Can Ramel make it 3 in a row with >2-1 A/TO?
- Will Patrick Patterson continue his sparkling play and minimal fouls?
- Will Perry Stevenson ever get off the snide?
- Can Alex Legion play better?
This is our last tune up before North Carolina, our last cupcake before trying to kill and eat something that has a better than average chance of pulling off the converse.
We are also trying a new liveblog software tonight. It should be pretty self-explanatory, but it does require Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher or Firefox 2.0 or higher to post comments. It may not work with Safari, either.
But you can still post your comments below as always, and every browser can read the liveblog. This will not be a constant commentary (I am going to watch the game, you know), but I will be updating it fairly frequently, pretty much as I do normally. I will also be watching the comments as well.
After this game is over, tell me what you think of the new software. I don't have to use it, but it is supposed to give readers a better liveblogging experience. I don't promise to liveblog every game like this, but I surely will have an open thread for every one.
Post your comments, either to the liveblog or to the thread, as you please. Enjoy the game, see you at 7:00.
GO, CATS!
[editor's note, by Truzenzuzex] I had to move the transcript of the live blog below the fold so it doesn't impact page load times. Click the "Read more" link to read it.
