The ESPN/Coaches' poll is out, and not only did the OT loss to Georgia not doom the Cats, the big win over Tennessee seemed to also help them, as Kentucky moved up one spot from last week to No. 24.
The media voters (AP) were hard-pressed to raise the Cats up any with a loss last week, but they didn't punish them either, keeping them at the mythical "27th" spot (second "receiving votes"), behind Indiana -- who also lost -- and 86 points behind 25th place Clemson, who lost twice last week.
For those interested in how UK fares in the poll race, Saturday's road game against Arkansas is probably as simple as "win and you're in."
