Former Wildcat giant Shagari Alleyne has a new home ... his old home.
The tallest player in UK history, and one of the more frustrating ones in recent memory, will play his final season at Manhattan College, a stone's throw from his roots at Rice High School in New York City.
The fan favorite never was able to capitalize on the promise he showed as a gangly, but improving sophomore. School issues and too many trips to Tubby's doghouse plagued the big guy, and here's hoping that he produces a happy ending to his basketball story.
