GAMEDAY: Moons over Miami

New, comments

The fretting is over. The waiting is past. It's time, Wildcats fans.

Tonight the doldrums are shaken off as Kentucky's men's basketball team opens what, at this stage, could be the year. Why the hell not? until proven otherwise, this is the best Cats team ever assembled. Yeah ...

When the Cats meet the MAC's Miami of Ohio tonight at 7 ET at Rupp Arena, there will be many questions to ponder. Here are a few:

  • Can Randolph Morris be an anchor down low?
  • Will the seniors step up as leaders?
  • Will Joe Crawford become the go-to guy?
  • How much can the freshmen give Tubby?
  • Will last year's pain weigh on this year's Cats?
  • Is Tubby feeling the heat?
Those are just a few things to think about as the season opens.
