Cats meow? UK heads into Bayou

Kentucky couldn't find the right mix to pick off South Carolina last weekend, but they get an immediate chance to take down another SEC big in LSU tonight.

At the risk of repeating myself, the Cats (3-3, 1-2 SEC) will need a much better effort on defense than they've goten at any point this season to have a prayer of upsetting the Tigers at home. The Wildcats have not beaten LSU since 1999, and with start tailback Rafael Little on the shelf, it will be up to Andre' Woodson and Keenan Burton to put a jolt into the LSU defense.

LSU (4-2, 1-2) is coming off a loss to No. 2 Florida, and its only two losses are to UF and Auburn, both top tier teams.

I don't think this one will be close, frankly. Yeah, pessimism is not thta attractive, but LSU is a legit BCS-caliber team. Kentucky, put simply, is not yet.

I would love to be wrong, trust me.
