This, ladies and gentlemen, is absolutely hilarious! I damn near spit up all over my wide screen when I read this. Had a bad day? Just need a deep belly-laugh? Go thee hither.

This is a thoughtful piece by the Fake Gimel Martinez at Kentucky Sports Radio. He wonders if it would be better for Brooks to retire this year, or stay on, and makes some fair points pro or con. My feeling is that Brooks should stay just as long as he pleases. I assume that at some point, he will decide to call it a career, and I suppose that he is or intends to gradually let Phillips come more to the front, very much as Bobby Bowden did at FSU. But then again, who knows? Add to the speculation below.

Indeed he did. And well deserved, too. C'mon, Wildcat fans -- get behind your team. Show a little class, even if you disagree or don't like some things going on. Negative attitudes do not create positive outcomes.

There are a few interesting tidbits to take away from Brooks' comments. I can't wait to see how they utilize Cobb.

I am getting a little tired of this. But the only way to make it go away is to win, and truth be told, UK has not won enough.

I think Brooks has at least four years left in him at Kentucky. He's just a tough guy who loves to coach. Everybody seems to forget that Brooks is only 4 years older than Spurrier.
