Michael Avery 6'5" So. Crespi (Encino CA) - Skilled wing forward has been under the microscope since he became the youngest player to commit to a major college (Kentucky) as an 8th grader last April. Avery (just a freshman) is an excellent passer and savvy scorer for his grade. While it is true that his quickness has room for improvement, he has plenty of time to improve all aspects of his game but more importantly Mike has the work-ethic and drive to do just that and his size 15 shoe size indicates that he may not be done growing. Severe ankle injury on Sunday morning sidelined him for the top 25 game.
