Eight former Wildcats, all in the NBA, have verbally committed to participate in the Big Blue All Stars exhibition games. Eric Bledsoe, Demarcus Cousins, Josh Harrellson, Chuck Hayes, Brandon Knight, DeAndre Liggins, Jodie Meeks, and Rajon Rondo. Five or six of these eight will be at each stop of the tour. More stars could be added in the next couple of days. Here is the schedule and ticket information again.

Looks like two players UK fans were counting on coming back next season may very well be playing for pay next season.

It seems to entire planet is pointing to a Bledsoe to UK outcome, especially over the last 48 hours. The usually reliable Zagsblog cites Rivals' Jerry Meyer and an unnamed source as evidence that this mornings 11:00 am Eric Bledsoe press conference will result in the 5-star point guard (#23 overall player in the '09 class) selecting to cast his lot with the 'Cats. If true, Calipari's first recruiting class, which still may not be complete, would include: #2 DeMarcus Cousins, #22 Daniel Orton, #23 Eric Bledsoe, #40 Jon Hood, and 4-star JUCO Darnell Dodson. Bledsoe has reportedly attained the required ACT score, but needs to do some classroom work to gain freshman eligibility. All the while, John Wall is still mulling the possibilities. UPDATE 5/6/2009 06:36 by Truzenzuzex: Marc Maggard is reporting that Eric Bledsoe will be sending a signed LOI to UK tomorrow.
