The top 10 prospect had long expressed interest in Kentucky, but never received a UK offer. Florida is building a stout 2013 team, with Walker joining fellow top 10 recruit Kasey Hill, as well as eligible transfers Dorian Finney-Smith (Virginia Tech) and Damontre Harris (South Carolina).

Interesting to see Kentucky offer two of the top 2013 players in Florida, Malik Price-Martin & Kasey Hill.

Calipari is clearly throwing a flag in Billy Donovan's Florida recruiting territory. 2013 PF Chris Walker, another Floridian, is also drawing major interest from UK. Take that, Alligator Army! 2. As Kentucky fans know, the PG position has been the offensive key for Calipari's teams. Kasey Hill, a combo guard with PG size, gets the coveted first PG offer from Calipari. That's over highly regarded Andrew Harrison (who also has a five star SG brother, Aaron) who has drawn interest from UK.

Per multiple sources [ESPN and Cats Pause ($)], 5* big man Robert Carter from Thomasville, GA now has an offer from Kentucky. Carter will debut on the next 2012 Big Board and joins a logjam of big men that could potentially don a Wildcats uniform in 2012. Here's a short YouTube clip of Carter (#24) and AAU teammate Chris Walker (#23), also a Kentucky target for the class of 2013.
