Catching up: The Bowl Results

Well, ladies and gentlemen, the bowl season is just about over, and the SEC has done well. Kentucky, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi State, Auburn and Alabama all won. Arkansas and Florida lost. The Gator's loss was a disappointment to SEC fans, but a huge kudos to Lloyd Carr's Michigan team. They were absolutely outstanding, and exploited Florida's weak secondary just like the scouting report said. I was very surprised that the Gators' offensive like looked so hapless, but give credit where it is due -- Michigan's game plan worked to perfection.

SEC well represented

I'm glad the league showed the dominance that we all knew we had.

I'm also glad we can now put all this oblong ball non-sense behind us and focus on what really matters!!!

I love it. Here, here chirop1. Now it's okay to only REALLY care about basketball, right?

Now if our team can just string together a couple wins...get over .500...most importantly, beat Louisville...I'll be pleased as punch.

Dominance

It was great seeing UGA swat Hawaii like a bug.

IM really really mad that Florida lost to Michigan. I have a buddy that is a total Ohio St. and Big Ten homer and have been telling him the SEC was going to role the Big Ten this bowl season. So much for that one. I just hope LSU puts the hurt on Ohio St.

very gratified to see Hawai'i go down hard. Some dingbats were arguing that they belonged in the BCS championship.

I think we can safely laugh them off the face of the planet now.

Oops ...

that read kind of wrong. I don't mean laugh at Hawai'i, I mean at those who contended that the Rainbow Warriors should have been playing in the BCS championship.

I love everything about Hawai'i, including their football team. I plan on dropping big bucks there later this year.
