It's that time of year...
...this will stay linked to the right, and we'll update as often as there is news.

Folks should feel free to post updates in the comments, as we are user-generated as well.

Wow
It's one thing to read about all the high school players Gillispie is recruiting, it's another to see them all listed together like this.  You figure that just based on percentages UK is going to end up with a pretty good fresman class each of the next 3 years.
Looking for a rock to wind a piece of string around.

Katz's Top 25 for next year...
Our favorite ESPN commentator has his "final" pre-preseason Top 25 poll up at espn.com.

He puts the Cats in there at 16 with a fairly honest commentary on how they'll look on the floor.

The Gators slip in at 25, which I'm fine with.  I think Billy D will have those kids hanging around the Top 25 all year.

This is Awesome JL
Thanks for putting a comprehensive recruit list together like this. It saves my mind a lot of trouble trying to remember or having to search who is what year and so forth ...

You rock.

Loading ... checking memory card ... press Start and enjoy the game.

Me
I've been telling myself how much I rock for years.

You're welcome. I'll try to keep it somewhat updated. Thankfully, Gillispie makes that hard.

Omission??
Doesn't K.C. Ross-Miller(2010) have an offer?

Yeah ...
apparently he does.  Guess we need to fix that, eh?

Point of Clarification
Are the listed players just "targets," or do they all have "confirmed" scholarship offers? (It appears to me to be the latter, but I certainly don't want to assume anything.) If the former, might I suggest adding another column that communicates whether an "official" offer has been extended or not?

Apparently I got a price special on quotation marks today.

As another POC, whose rankings/star ratings are you using? (Rivals, Scout, HoopScoop, etc.)

All those nits aside, this is a really nice resource you've created.

Bastard...
It's an amalgam of Scout, Rivals and the occasional Hoopmasters (where there are no ran kings for, say, 2010 players, etc.).

I don't intend this to be every offer, nor every target. Moreso, it's a list of guys we've heard more about, that we know have offers or expect have them.

I'm reluctant to put a category for offers because that information is notoriously quiet/wrong or unknown.

But thanks for the suggestions.

BTW
Bastard was meant as "bastardized"...I realized that could have been taken wrong.

Questioning my parentage?
Thanks for the clarification about the "bastard" heading; I wondered what I'd done to piss you off so badly. :)

I also respect your stance on the "official offers," since the information is so notoriously fuzzy. (Thanks to the helpful NCAA, who refuses to allow official comment from the schools. Allowing the schools to clarify might help avoid the reputed "Adam Williams' Scenario.")

I'm still getting that great value on quotation marks, in case you couldn't tell. (I'm practically a walking/talking/typing Schoolhouse Rock segment all on my own.)
