Gillispie had this to say about footer DeAndre Jordan:

I'm all for Texas A&M. I hope they continue to build upon the program that we got started. (Taking players who have signed letters of intent) wouldn't be the right thing to do.

I guess he could just be posturing, but that could turn nasty. Imagine if he puts A&M fans' minds at ease, and then jordan decommits and comes to UK on his own... billy clyde would look like a snake. So the best-case scenario might just be that jordan's not coming. i'm disappointed, because I wanted him more than patterson, but maybe we're not going to get any significant help next season. we'll see...
