The Kentucky Wildcats will have a loaded guest list for Big Blue Madness 2017.
According to Chris Fisher of Cats Pause, James Wiseman will be among the superstar recruits attending Big Blue Madness on Oct. 13. In that same report, 247 Director of Scouting Jerry Meyer offered some high praise for Wiseman, comparing him to former NBA All-Star forward Chris Bosh.
Wiseman, who hails from Memphis (TN), is regarded as one of the top players in 2019, the highest being No. 1 overall by ESPN. He is ranked No. 2 by 247 Sports Composite, which factors in all major recruiting services.
Kentucky, North Carolina, Louisville, Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Florida State, Kansas and Texas have all offered Wiseman thus far, but Kentucky is the school standing out early in this recruitment.
Kentucky has also offered fellow 2019 forward Vernon Carey Jr., though it remains to be seen if the two bigs are mutually exclusive or if they’ll play together in college. If it’s a one or the other deal, it appears Wiseman is who Kentucky has high on their big board.
