According to Rivals’ Justin Rowland, Markray is joining UK as a preferred walk-on. He plays running back.
Markray, who hails from St. Mary's High School in Indiana, picks UK while holding a scholarship offer from Central Michigan. He doesn’t have an evaluation from ESPN, Scout, Rivals or 247, so it’s clear Markray is an under-the-radar name right now.
UK is in need of more backs with only four scholarship backs on the roster right now. Even though Markray is a prefered walk-on, he could find his way on the field in 2019 on special teams and as a reserve back.
