The Kentucky Wildcats are poised to have another strong recruiting class in 2018.
The latest indicator of such is the updated ESPN Class of 2018 rankings, which features a host of UK targets in the top 15. Among them are R.J. Barrett, Zion Williamson and Cameron Reddish at the No. 1, 2 and 3 spots respectively. There’s a great chance UK lands at least one of them, and it’s not out of the question that two of them are Wildcats come the 2018-19 season.
One of the big risers was Simisola Shittu, a big man who is on the verge of scoring a scholarship offer from John Calipari. Coming in at No. 7 is Keldon Johnson, an elite shooting guard who scored an offer from UK on Tuesday.
Immanuel Quickley jumped up from No. 15 to 12 as he looks like he’ll become UK’s first pledge in the 2018 class. He’s followed by Quentin Grimes, who also holds a UK offer but looks to be trending towards Kansas.
