The college basketball National Championship betting odds have been updated, and the Kentucky Wildcats are now the second-favorite to win it all, according to SportsLine.
The ‘Cats now have 11-2 odds, which SportsLine’s Josh Nagel says is a great price for this team.
This price is still a relative bargain on an ultra-talented Kentucky team that has dominated most of its opponents and suffered close losses to UCLA and Louisville.
I suspect the Wildcats will enter the NCAA Tournament as one of the short favorites to cut down the nets, likely at 3/1 or leaner, so this is likely the best remaining price we’ll see on them.
The Wildcats trail only the Duke Blue Devils, who have 9-2 odds. Ever since earning the "superteam" label this preseason, Duke has struggled. Between Grayson Allen’s antics and their injury issues, it hasn’t been a super season at all. If we see many more slip-ups from them, Kentucky could jump into that number one favorite spot for betting odds.
