This weekend, the Under Armour Basketball Elite 24 is taking place in New York City.
There, many of the nation's top high school prospects are going against each other in one of the final major recruiting events of the summer. This will be the last time we see many of UK's biggest targets in action until they begin their senior seasons, not to mention a recruiting dead period is coming up.
The good news is UK has some former Cats at the event getting to coach various recruits. According to 247 Sports' Chris Fisher, Wildcat greats Tony Delk and Jamal Mashburn are among those getting to coach Hamidou Diallo, Kevin Knox and Nick Richards.

It looks like Richards and Diallo are already getting used to playing with each other:

As of now, UK is in the driver's seat to land both Richards and Diallo in 2017. Diallo is arguably the best shooting guard in the class, while Richards is a top-15 prospect and one of the top centers.
Knox is the guy UK is trying hard to become a bigger factor in the recruitment of. He's ranked by most services as a top-five prospect and the No. 2 small forward behind only Michael Porter Jr. Duke and Florida State are the two front-runners for now, but John Calipari thinks he can put UK in position to land him by the time the spring signing period rolls around.
It's good to see Knox, Richards and Diallo getting to play together since Cal would love nothing more than to see that at the college level next year.
